What are your rates?

Full day sessions are $500 (10am - 8pm, including a lunch break)

Half day sessions are $300 (10am - 3pm OR 4pm - 9pm)

These rates include an engineer.

Do you offer discounts?

Our collective sets aside some of our profits to help subsidize recording sessions for artists who wouldn't otherwise be able to afford it. If that sounds like you, please get in touch and we will do our best to make your session happen in an affordable way.

Can I choose who my band records with? How does that work?

Yes! If there is a specific collective member who you would like to work with, just let us know! If you don't have a specific engineer in mind, we will assign one to the project based on each engineer's interest and availability.

Do you have instruments at the studio that we can use for our recording?

Yes we do. We often encourage bands to bring their own instruments/amp/etc., but we do have a small selection of instruments here that bands are welcome to use, including a drum kit, various guitar and bass amps, a Baldwin upright piano, a Hammond organ and more. Get in touch before your session so we can make sure the instruments here will meet your needs.

How can I get involved in the Soft Cult Studio Collective? Can I become a member?

There are various ways to get involved. If you are an engineer who is interested in joining the collective (or booking sessions as a freelancer), or you are interested in an internship, we’d love to talk to you! Email us and we can chat. Otherwise, keep an eye out for the different events, shows, and workshops we host here at the studio.
